Summary

About the Position: As a Test Administrator, you will administer tests to individuals wishing to enter the military and high school students participating in the Career Exploration Program. This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis". Occasional shift work may include some Saturdays. Intermittent employees are not eligible for benefits.

Duties

Help
  • Administer written and computerized tests in the local commuting area (up to a 100 miles radius when necessary).
  • Use personal vehicle to transport test materials.
  • Maintain security and inventory of test materials.
  • Review applicants test admission forms.
  • Respond to test applicant questions.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as reading instructions, greeting visitors, and filing; and skill in operating office automation equipment.

OR

Education:
Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
