In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience using judgment and discretion in determining intent and revising existing policy and regulatory guidance for others to use. Developing methodology, programs and directives to support regions and garrisons with oversight of mobilizations operations. Preparing staff actions and coordinating support for current operations, contingencies and crisis actions. Formulate guidelines, procedures, and processes for leadership staff to coordinate actions. Experience with the Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (ADPAAS) in identifying and analyzing key issues in proposed regulations, standards, or guidelines. Ability to coordinate with officials of various levels. Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure compliance with organization requirements.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
