    This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration,, Legislative Archives, Presidential Libraries, and Museum Services. As an Supervisory Archivist, you will be serving as the Assistant Director and assist the Director in planning, directing, and coordinating all archival programs of the Center.

    As a Supervisory Archivist, you will:
    -Assist the Director in formulating basic policies and procedures and establishing priorities for the administration and management of the Center for Legislative Archives in all archival programs and administrative areas.
    -Direct, through lower-level staff, the planning and evaluation of programs for accessioning, , preservation, reference services, access issues, description, arrangement, and COOP responsibilities for textual and electronic records in the Center's holdings
    -Supervise all archival reference and project work in the Center for Legislative Archives. Oversees the planning and implementation of project operations of the Center for Legislative Archives.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - 5-10 percent of travel may be required.
