Duties

Help

As the Payment Integrity Program Manager, you will:
- Manage the fraud detection and deterrence program for the Payment Integrity program, leveraging financial industry experts in the analytics, financial, and technical spaces; set the objectives of the program and institute a methodology for quantifying success.
- Develop and implement Government-wide Payment Integrity Program to support execution of cross-governmental initiatives related to Payment Integrity.
- Coordinate efforts across the Bureau, Federal Agencies and Inspector General Community (i.e. CIGIE), maximizing existing Government-wide relationships to evaluate effectiveness of current efforts and identify opportunities to improve Payment Integrity.
- Provide direction to the team in utilizing data analytics in assisting customer agencies with identifying data quality and improper payment challenges. Develop preventative analytics strategies to test data quality and pilot data use with customers to determine viability of including new data sources.
- Serve as an advisor to the Executive Director and other management officials on payment and post payment issues in regards to payment integrity.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience: Specialized experience for the GS-15 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-14 level, or equivalent, which is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes directing the overall planning of a governmentwide or corporate-wide program management or services program.
This governmentwide or corporate-wide  program management or services program experience must include:
-Experience managing a governmentwide or corporate-wide program or initiative focused on, or requiring, program integrity or payment integrity (e.g., identifying, preventing and recovering improper payments, preventing fraud, ensuring secure transactions); AND
-Experience providing leadership to inspire, motivate, and guide others toward goals; gain cooperation from others to obtain information and accomplish goals, build consensus and effectively execute change events.

In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- Public Trust – Background Investigation will be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation. Periodic reinvestigation is required no later than five years after selection and at least every succeeding five years.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
