Duties

Help
  • Regular responsibilities of this position include
  • Coordinating and contributing to analyses with varying levels of urgency and for diverse stakeholders
  • Generating comprehensive summaries of analysis and research, and facilitate efforts by teams to generate deliverables in terms that are understandable to scientific, congressional, or lay audiences
  • Leading efforts to plan, coordinate, and assemble datasets, reports, presentations for NIH senior leadership or in response to Congressional inquiries, media items or requests, and/or requests from external stakeholders
  • Developing and coordinating quality control/risk management procedures for analytical tools, systems, and office operations

Qualifications

You qualify at the GS-14 level if you meet the following qualification requirements:

A. Possess a degree in a major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position.
AND
B. Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following types of tasks: generating and analyzing complex datasets related to scientific research programs or policies; evaluating the quality and integrity of complex datasets related to scientific research programs or policies; analyzing the impact of current and proposed research programs or policies; developing reports and other communications documents on research programs or policies; identifying and solving problems or providing alternative solutions related to analysis of research programs or policies.

You will receive credit for all experience material to the position, including experience gained in religious, civic, welfare, service, and organizational activities, regardless of whether you received pay.
