Receives telephone calls and visitors, provides required information from own knowledge or office files or refers callers to appropriate person.
Processes purchasing documents to order and receive supplies. Conducts surveillance of total facility and reports any unusual findings to supervisor
Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies. Keep cleaning equipment in good working order. Maintain clean storage area for equipment and supplies.
Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, sweep all areas of the establishment. Cleans sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to standards.
Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities and equipment. Prepares work order for maintenance which cannot be completed by self-help.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
Ability to work weekends, shift work, and Holidays to support facility resident needs and/or community events.
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical demonstrating ability to stand, stoop, bend and kneel as well as be able to lift up to 40lbs.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Qualifications
Must have experience working with the general public.
Highly Preferred: Candidates that possess highly preferred criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. Criteria is verified within the application package.
At least six (6) months of experience providing customer service to facility/operational patrons, including answering questions (telephonically, in person or via email), conducting basic clerical work (filing, printing etc.).
At least six (6) months of experience with Housekeeping or Custodial Worker duties.
Education
