Responsible for agency wide performance and risk management efforts, including supporting the Chief Performance Risk Management Officer, CPRMO and OIG in meeting agency mission goals and objectives, meeting performance, strategy and Enterprise Risk Management, ERM mandates. This includes responsibility for project management, process design and execution, as well as planning and conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluation related to project, program, agency performance, ERM, organizational culture and strategic planning.
Leads complex projects leveraging data analysis, surveys, software tools, and other best practices, including project management, and process re-engineering concepts to enhance OIG’s strategic planning, ERM, and agency performance management activities. Conducts comprehensive management studies and research where the boundaries of the studies are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance.
Ensures the agency's performance, ERM processes, budget, investments, and strategies comply with agency and federal requirements, such as the Government Performance and Results Act Modernization Act 2010 (GPRAMA), 0MB Circular A-123 and A-11, and other Office of Management and Budget (0MB), Congressional, and related requirements.
Develops and maintains effective collaborative working relationships with staff, senior leadership, and stakeholders. Performs high level liaison functions and collaborates with OIG staff regarding preparation of performance measures, risk assessments, action planning, and reporting activities.
Leads evaluations and special studies to analyze complex issues and risks in an effort to develop and implement potential solutions. Applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess and to improve program effectiveness and complex management processes, projects and systems.
Requires a valid drivers license. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Qualifications
The applicants must have one year of specialized experience that equipped him/she with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. The experience must be equivalent to the next lower grade level, in the Federal service.
GS-13 - Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12, in the Federal Service. Example of specialized experience includes but is not limited to, Experience in the assessment of strategic, operational, and/or compliance risk reviews of complex business units, divisions, or programs; AND assisting with implementing and maintaining an enterprise risk management framework for business units, divisions, or programs.
GS-14, Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-13, in the Federal service. Example of specialized experience includes but is not limited to, Leading the assessment of enterprise risk management policies and procedures for organizations; AND formulated risk management approaches and guidance/instruction for an organization, or management team; AND developed, conducted, and reported the results from the analysis of operational, compliance or strategic risk reviews of complex business units, divisions or problems.
