Duties

Help
  • You will analyze training curriculum and generating standardized instruction for Information Warfare Commander (IWC) staff training provided by different organizations.
  • You will develop and adopt NIWDC processes that capture training Lessons Learned / Best Practices and work to transition these into appropriate updates for IWC staff training tracks, enabling and advancing standardized fleet operations.
  • You will work with CSG, ARG, SAG and shore units in adapting schedules to meet IWC staff training.
  • You will be responsible for integrating a combination of classroom, synthetic and hands on IWC training events designed to optimize staff training within the O-FRP.
  • You will coordinate with fleet schedulers, other Warfare Development Centers (WDCs), IW training units, BUPERS detailers and others to develop optimum timelines.
  • You will support / assess IW Warfare Tactics Instructor (WTI) training processes and track individual qualifications / standards for different IW specialties.
  • You will asse and provide detailed analysis of CSG/ARG/SAG, NFC/NCC and COCOM exercises and training evolutions, clearly providing insight to NIWDC leadership on applicability for future IW standardized O-FRP training events.
  • You will represent the Commander, providing Flag-level presentations, identifying IWC training concept and initiatives that integrate existing / new / modified opportunities for IWC training tracks.
  • You will link new information warfighter capabilities that require IWC training, and aligning multiple IW training requirements into a standardized / holistic IWC training program.

  • This is a Testing Designated Position under the Navy Drug-Free Workplace Program. This position is TDP due to incumbent being required to have either continuous or intermittent TS access
  • Occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel, less than 20%, is required. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued passport. Occasional evening/weekend work may be required.
  • Incumbent will embark shipboard visits exceeding periods longer than 24 hours. Medical Screening Exam is a requirement prior to embarking on U.S. Navy Vessel afloat and away from shore for periods of time greater than 24 hours.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience applying quantitative and qualitative evaluative methods and techniques.
Experience conducting training analysis and identifying interrelated training requirements;
Experience communicating effectively orally and in writing.
Experience analyzing conflicting data and summarizing recommendations or program changes.
Experience applying intermediate (or above) level computer skills to include spreadsheet, database, graphics and word processing
