The position will serve as the Director, NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) in the Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations (OLAO), Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management (OALM), Office of Management (OM), Office of the Director (OD), NIH. NITAAC has been designated a federal Executive Agent, authorized by OMB to administer three Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts for information technology procurement. Duties

Help

Some of the major duties of this position include:

-Directing the strategic development and implementation of business and management policies, plans, and objectives to effectively control the delivery of services for all federal client agencies using the NITAAC GWAC contracting vehicles.

-Providing advice and assistance to NIH's internal customers such as Institute executive staff including Directors, Executive Officers, Scientific Directors, and Chief Administrative Officers.

-Meeting with senior management and administrators of other Federal agencies such as the Department of Defense, Office of Management and Budget, Department of Health and Human Services, Office of General Counsel, Government Accountability Office, and the Office of the Inspector General to gain performance feedback and provide expert advice and assistance.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: leading an information technology acquisition/contracting operation; directing the development of innovative business strategies; developing policy responses for input to proposed new and revised information technology acquisition policies/procedures; representing the organization at high level information technology acquisition conferences and meetings.
