Duties

Help

As a Management Support Specialist, GS-0301-9, you will:

  • Coordinate with other organization managers and customers as appropriate.
  • Review organization mission, functions, and manning.
  • Identify requirements and initiates requests for additional resources.
  • Establish metrics and analysis systems.
  • Plan, organize and execute all Group information management and personnel activities.
  • Manage training programs for administration.
  • Serve as the Group point of contact and liaison.
  • Plan, organize, and oversees the full complement of activities within the Group Commander's Support Staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory

Qualifications

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Practical knowledge of the following programs, procedures, and policies of the following areas:

  • Family programs, military community services, victim advocacy and/or associated functional areas
  • Government-wide, departmental or other sexual assault, domestic abuse, victim advocacy reporting options directives
  • Interpreting directives and regulations
  • Implementing guidance


SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
At least 12 months military or civilian experience or knowledge in the following areas:

Knowledge of government or other agency's programs in regard to sexual assault, domestic abuse, victim advocacy reporting options, directives, regulations, and/or implementing guidance.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualified applicants must have specific course work that meets the requirements for a major in a particular field; for example, psychology, social sciences, human resources, or education and, have at least 24 semester hours of college course work in the social sciences. Coursework or pertinent volunteer experience, in fields associated with those specified in the position description, is acceptable only where it clearly provides applicants with the background education and competency necessary for successful job performance such as, studies in the Social Sciences, Psychology, Education, Social Welfare, or Human Resources.
