    Responsibilities

    • Serves as Chief Information Technology (IT) Contingency Planning & and is responsible for the overall development, implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Information Technology (IT) DR Program.
    • Manages, coordinates, leads and directs the work of the office to plan, design and provide overall program management for the telecommunications and local infrastructure needed to meet worldwide logistics customer IT requirements
    • Ensures fail-safe IT DR plans exist to support DLA COOP plans; ensures all measures are in place to guarantee the availability of DLA's critical IT infrastructures and systems (cont.)
    • (cont.) ; projects and refines DR organizational and work flow plans to establish valid end product data requirements;
    • Participates in the development of the annual business plan and ensuring state-of-the-art best practices are implemented
    • Establishes and maintains communications with appropriate staff within J6, DLA and J6 business partners to ensure knowledge transfer to advance and sustain mission requirements.
    • Responsible for operational planning and monitoring the execution efforts to ensure vital data and communications networks and systems are fully operational.
    • Monitors all networks and serves as the focal point for actions and coordination of all operational facets of the organization.
