Duties

Help
  • You will manage the production nuclear quality control program through monitoring, audits, guidance in problem solving, investigating and remedying problems.
  • You will coordinate and administer the Production Resources Department implementation of the Shipyard Nuclear Improvement Program (SNIP).
  • You will ensure departmental support of Nuclear Management Conference Agenda Items pertaining to quality of work.
  • You will represent the Nuclear Production Manager at critiques and corrective action meetings, overseeing shop preparation of Incident Reports and Courses of Action.
  • You will function as the Production Resources Department lead point of contact for developing and establishing Shipyard action in preparation for NAVSEA inspections of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
  • You will conduct investigations and reviews, providing guidance and making recommendations on issues, actions and related matters regarding the Production Resources Department involvement in radiological control.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating or analyzing quantitative or qualitative data for a nuclear quality control program to identify potential problems and pursue corrective actions.
