    As a Deputy Director, Office of Single Family Program Development, you will:

    • Develop and recommend national policy guides, procedures and plans for the effective implementation of the Department's programs and objectives for the programs.

    • Develop and ensure the effective implementation of program objectives; coordinates and ensures consistency of basic policies and procedures within Housing and interrelated program elements of the Department.

    • Review major Department program activities to ascertain the need for redefinition of program goals, increased emphasis or other necessary action relative to certain policies or programs and to assess the validity and desirability of existing program control measures and practices and plans for expansion or curtailment of programs.

    • Determine methods, clearance, or other implementing measures to provide increased operational effectiveness in headquarters and field functions.
