The Environmental Conservation Online System (ECOS) is made up of 35 web applications that provides access to USFWS data in regard to threatened and endangered species, conservation of habitat and species, refuges, and migratory birds.
Coordinating staff and internal USFWS resources to ensure successful project implementation;
Managing project progress, and adapt work as required;
Ensuring projects meet agreed upon deadlines;
Manage relationships with management and stakeholders;
Assisting with designing of contracts;
Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation;
Participating in process i.e. design, submission and review;
Designing, updating, and communication of project risk mitigation plans;
Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for management and executive leadership;
Optimizing and improving processes and the overall project approaches where necessary;
Working with large and diverse technical and non-technical teams;

Qualifications
Only experience and education obtained by 04/24/2020 will be considered.
You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing duties such as: Serving as lead in project planning sessions; Coordinating resources to ensure successful project implementation; Managing and monitoring projects and progress to ensure timelines are met; Assisting with designing of contracts for a natural resources program; Designing, updating, and communicating project risk mitigation plans; Conducting project review and created detailed reports for management and executive leadership; Optimize and improve processes of overall project approaches where necessary;.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
