Qualifications
To be eligible for this program, applicants must: (1) be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a degree seeking program at a qualifying educational institution on a full or half-time basis; (2) have a minimum cumulative (overall) GPA of 2.50 out of 4.0; and (3) be in good academic standing.
Experience:
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-04: Requires one year of general experience.
Specialized Experience for the CG-05: Specialized Experience is defined as providing administrative and office automation support for training programs, classes, and conferences.
Education:
Education requirements are established by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Below are the requirements by grade:
For CG-4: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree.
For CG-5: Completion of 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
