Duties

Help

  • Manage/direct technical and administrative personnel in activities such as engineering, procurement, production, budgeting, testing, configuration management, information technology, database and
    knowledge product improvement, fielding and readiness monitoring of an assigned project/product.
  • Provide oversight and coordination of all support organizations, collocated and non-collocated matrix engineering, IPT memberships, and systems and support contractors.
  • Develop plans which affect the organization's long-range goals,objectives, and direction and require an analytical approach in order to forecast future trends and results.
  • Responsible for supporting programs focused on skills in the areas of information technology, database and knowledge management, budgeting and program analysis, end of life management, warranty and repair management, strategic initiatives and emerging technology management.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) Managing cost, schedule, performance, and sustainment of a military system; 2) Interpreting and implementing Acquisition policy and regulations, ensuring assigned program remain incompliance 3) Maintaining internal control to ensure timely processing of administrative projects to brief senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal serviceNH-02 or GS-11 equivalent.
