    About the Position: Serves as a lead systems analyst performing functions to meet long- and short- range technical planning and policy objectives for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering Directorate, systems Cost Division, Automated Systems Branch technical and functional specific automation requirements.

    • Serve as a lead for complex software projects related to the various phases of the automation life cycle (i.e., system concept development, definition/design, systems development, deployment and operation, and cybersecurity compliance supporting RMF.
    • Perform oversight of the work to be accomplished by conducting periodic reviews of the contractor's performance according to guidelines and milestones developed ensuring software applications meet requirements and are documented for Cyber compliance.
    • Develop and use hardware and software monitor programs in review and appraisal of performance and effectiveness of computer hardware and software, and application programs.
    • Provide technical guidance to systems analysts/programmers with regard to recent innovations to the operating system or software application, utilities, file access methods, reviews of source code, and other software tools and their uses.
    • Represent the organization at conferences and working groups with HQUSACE, other Major Subordinate Commands, DA, DoD, or industrial representatives concerning formulation and finalization of software projects related plans, policies, and procedures.

    25% or less - You may be expected to travel for this position up to 25% of the time.
