    This is a Supervisory Interdisciplinary (Chief, Construction Branch) position

    Responsibilities

    • As the Chief of Construction Branch, responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating a large and diverse construction program located throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
    • Collaborates with all stakeholders on broad phases of planning, developing and establishing construction policies for the District.
    • Makes long-range plans for changes in functions and programs including projecting workload and manpower needs, obtaining and allocating resources and associated funds necessary to support the organizational mission.
    • Directs a workforce of professional engineers, technicians and support personnel. Plans and assigns work, establishes priorities and deadlines.
    • Directs personnel management activities to include initiating personnel and position actions.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Less than 25% Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required.
