As a Cloud Program Manager, you will:

  • Be responsible for executing a multi-year program to move CFPB technology to cloud service providers in support of the cloud smart strategy and the 2022 Target Architecture.
  • Develop and monitor program plan including roadmap, integrated master schedule, stakeholder engagement, performance measures, and time and cost estimates from inception through completion; monitor adherence to program plan, schedule and costs; identify program risks and issues, and proposes mitigations/solutions, including allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Facilitate T&I’s cloud-native operating model, oversee program workstreams dedicated to advances in T&I’s vendor management, people and culture, “voice of the customer”, investment management, cloud skills, data management, and cybersecurity.
  • Maintain program communications and reporting, including operational documentation (e.g., meeting minutes, decisions logs, etc.), strategic marketing materials, and performance metric dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead for Cloud, Identity and Mobility Services and Enterprise Architect in the definition and evolution of the Bureau’s target architecture and oversee the full portfolio of cloud transformation projects and initiatives to ensure they align with the Bureau’s Technology and Innovation Strategy and support the Bureau’s long-term mission objectives.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience: For the CN-60, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the CN-53 grade level in the Federal service (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 is broadly equivalent to the GS-13). Specialized experience for this position includes: 

  • Developing project management strategies and approaches for the delivery of complex IT projects cloud computing solutions; AND
  • Managing public cloud service provider support for IT projects and providing advice and guidance on cloud solution efforts; AND
  • Using cloud technologies, cloud computing and cloud automation, current cloud environments/services; and cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud); AND
  • Leading project teams in advanced systems software/hardware project efforts; AND
  • Using contracting and acquisition procedures to monitor the execution of contracts pertaining to IT services; AND
  • Participating on project design and technical teams to adapt and implement applications development methods and models incorporating new technologies.

In addition to the specialized experience stated above, applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
