This position is in the Program Integrity (PI) Division of the Office of Investigations. PI is a national program responsible for investigating serious, and often sensitive and complex, misconduct and mismanagement allegations involving senior-level Department of the Interior employees. The incumbent:

To be eligible for this position, you must possess the qualifying experience and education requirement listed for this position.
Experience Requirement GS-15: 5 or more years of professional legal experience after passing the bar exam.
This position includes Selective Placement Factors which are prerequisites to appointment and represent minimum requirements for this position. Applicants who do not meet these are ineligible for further consideration. The selective placement factors for this position are demonstrated skill:
1) supervising or leading an investigative team responsible for conducting investigations of potential violations of criminal, civil, or administrative laws, statutes, or regulations.
2) supervising or leading investigative duties, such as developing investigative plans, preparing for and conducting interviews, and drafting reports of investigation.
3) conducting or supervising the preparation of analyses of evidence in connection with investigations into allegations of ethics or other administrative misconduct.
Applicants must be law school graduates with LL.B. or J.D. degrees AND applicants must be an active member in good standing of a state, territory of the United States, District of Columbia, or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico bar.
