    Responsibilities

    • Serves as a calibration specialist in the parameters of electrical, electronic, microwave, physical and dimensional standards, with certification and evaluation of complex calibration lab reference standards.
    • Performs calibration and isolates malfunctions of unusually complex and unique precision measurement standards which are utilized at lower echelon Army calibration laboratories.
    • Parameters include microwave measurement systems, oscilloscope calibrations systems, AC-DC/Low Frequency Meter Core Stations, signal/function generator calibration systems, and various physical dimensional and mechanical calibration standards.
    • Prepares test and certification reports for customer use, providing specific information such as assigned values, corrections, and measurement uncertainties for instruments being calibrated.

    50% or less - You may be expected to travel up to 30% for this position.
