    About the Position: As an Acquisition Manager for the LRPF CFT, you will work to rapidly transition leader-approved capability requirements, technology, developmental capabilities and innovative solutions for integration and synchronization of long range precision fires and formations into the acquisition process as well as developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining affordable integrated state of the art equipment to improve Soldier dominance in Army operations today and in the future.

    Responsibilities

    • Serving as an Expert/Senior Technical Acquisition Advisor for the Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) Cross Functional Team (CFT)
    • Reporting on areas of acquisition, program structure and Department of Defense (DoD) modernization and integration to Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) Cross Functional Team (CFT) Director.
    • Overseeing the Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) Cross Functional Team (CFT) acquisition cell responsible for the coordination and direction of the development of long term acquisition strategies.
    • Evaluating and assessing acquisitions priorities within the Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) Cross Functional Team (CFT) portfolio.
    • Executing administrative and personnel management responsibilities which include addressing staffing needs, planning work, establishing priorities, evaluating performance, approving leave, and other managerial duties.
    • Synchronize LRPF CFT activities with PEO Missile and Space, PEO Ground Combat Systems and JPEO Armaments and Ammunition and their associated Project Managers and Product Managers.
