    Summary

    This position is located in the Bureau of Human Resources, Office of the Executive Director, Enterprise Systems Support Division’s Customer Service Operations business area (HR/EX/ESD). The Customer Service Operations business area encompasses the functions of the Information Technology (IT) Help Desk and Web operations support enterprise-wide.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for mission oversight of bureau- wide IT hardware and software support of over 800 customers and HR IT Help Desk support worldwide for all Department employees
    • Analyzes and evaluates HR systems and applications performance and progress to timely identify deficiencies and inconsistencies and to fully anticipate problem areas
    • Manages the Help Desk operations that includes network and desktop support to end-users Department-wide and includes the HR Online and Global Employment Management System (GEMS)
    • Plans and directs the creation, evaluation, and implementation of new multi- year contracts for the Bureau’s Help Desk, Web Development, Web Operations, procurement and Property Management
