    As a Lead Criminal Investigator (Digital Forensics), you will:

    - Assist in investigations requiring Digital Forensics analysis, including imaging and processing digital media; locating and identifying evidence; validation testing of Digital Forensic hardware and software and participating in setting up virtualized computer system environments on stand-alone or networked workstations; administering the e-Discovery system in use by DOC/OIG; and other duties of a technical nature, which may include technical operations equipment maintenance, inventory, operation and issuance.

    - Provide oversight and guidance to junior staff on Digital Forensic principles, methods and practices as part of criminal investigations. 

    - Keep the Special Agent in Charge and Assistant Inspector General for Investigations informed of issues or problems that arise in the course of investigations and offers recommendations for effective and timely resolution.

    - Conduct independent forensic investigations of personal computers, removable media, PDA's and other electronic equipment for a variety of white-collar crimes. 

    - Respond to questions and contributes Digital Forensic knowledge to coach stakeholders and customers on concepts, material, or tasks in an informal and formal setting. 

    Travel Required

    25% or less - One to five days per month.
