As an Program Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Serving as evaluator, and advisor to management on the effectiveness and efficiency with which components of the Technology Transformation Service carry out their assigned programs and functions.
  • Providing managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of TTS operations and management.
  • Providing key input on operational or policy issues that often require the interpretation of governing policy or technical practices of TTS program operations.
  • Measuring progress toward and determines the soundness of objectives in established programs by determining whether established goals and objectives are meeting the purpose for
    which intended.
  • Providing leadership, expert assistance and authoritative advice during the course of implementing decisions made by higher level agency management officials, often coordinating the work of other agency employees to accomplish desired objectives.

If selected, you must meet the following conditions:

The GS-14 salary range starts at $107,807 per year.

If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.

To qualify for the GS-14, you must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level GS-13 or equivalent in the Federal government. 

Specialized experience is defined as:

  • Analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of administrative or technical
    programs;
  • Overseeing workforce and other related studies, coordinating and analyzing findings and making recommendations on
    substantive programs;
  • Identifying or developing metrics to measure success of initiatives and using quantitative and qualitative data to
    determine if success has been met.

You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.

    relationships across TTS.
  • Knowledge of GSA/TTS mission, programs, policies, and functions in order to apply analytical and evaluative methods to issues concerning the efficiency and effectiveness or programs operations
    or functions.
  • Knowledge of agency organization, programs, mission and functions in order to apply analytical and evaluative methods to issues concerning the efficiency and effectiveness or programs operations or
    functions.
  • Skill in identifying problem areas, conducting research, evaluating data, and making decisions or recommendations.
  • Skill in oral communication with all levels of management and peers.
  • Skill in collaborating across boundaries to build strategic business relationships.
