    This position is located in the Management and Planning Division (M&P), Office of Security Programs (OSP). The M&P Division provides the Inspector General and OIG senior leadership with advice on administrative and fiscal policy, and assists OIG components by providing mission-critical support in the areas of budget, human capital, planning, quality assurance, internal controls, communications, procurement, facilities, telecommunications, security, and general services.

    If you are selected for this position, some of the duties you will be responsible for include but are limited to:

    • Providing direction and supervision of subordinate employees, including recommending personnel actions; developing or participating in the development of work performance standards; periodically evaluating employee performance, and identifying skill gaps, and assessing training needs;
    • Implementing and administering the OIG's security programs;
    • Providing advisory services related to all aspects of personnel, information, communications, and physical security;
    • Developing, implementing; coordinating, and testing the OIG's Emergency Preparedness program (Continuity of Operations and Occupant Emergency Planning).
    Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade level (or equivalent).
