    Summary

    This position is located in the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG), Deputy Inspector General (DIG) for Administrative Investigations, Whistleblower Reprisal Investigations Directorate (WRI). The incumbent serves as Program Manager for training and development and delivery within the WRI directorate.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and manage training programs to develop investigative abilities.
    • Works in conjunction with the Corporate Learning Office to develop and maintain competency-based job analysis, curriculum design, and learning objectives specific to reprisal investigations.
    • Ensures that personnel receive appropriate training courses that best support reprisal investigative processes.
    • Monitor employee compliance with career development requirements.
    • Maintains current and active knowledge of investigative techniques and whistleblower reprisal investigations policies to ensure that all training modules accurately reflect best practices.
    • Tracks and reports on the completion of all mandatory, annual, and biannual training. Processes approved requests.
    • Coordinates the development and delivery of training to internal and external trainees using web-based and computer-based learning.
    • Develops and maintains an orientation program for new whistleblower reprisal investigations employees to facilitate a seamless entry into the work unit.
