    About the Position: This position is located at the US Army Test & Evaluation Command (ATEC), Operational Test Command (OTC), Aviation Test Directorate. OTC has the mission to conduct realistic operational testing in the critical areas of equipment, doctrine, force design and training. The command conducts the operational tests, required by Public Law that provides significant data to Army decision makers on key Army systems and concepts.

    • Serve as Test Officer responsible for planning, executing, and reporting assigned tests or experiments.
    • Work with Operations Research System Analysts (ORSAs) to develop the data management plans and overall quality control plans for test data for each test or experiment.
    • Identify test support requirements (funds, facilities, personnel, etc.); determine supplies, equipment, and other materials required; and prepares budgetary input for development of cost estimates for assigned tests.
    • Write test methodologies for overall test design and for specific issue, criterion, and measurement of performance requirements.
    • Develop test reporting documents for the test or event and staff for approval, and publication in accordance with command or joint service milestones.
    • Prepare briefing documents to inform or gain approval of the test and evaluation program.

    Travel Required

    50% or less - You may be expected to travel up to 40% for this position.
