Serves as a Senior Intelligence Analyst performing analyses ans assessment of complex threat-related information, both foreign and domestic, involving nuclear information, facilities and activities. The successful candidate will perform the full range of Senior Intelligence Analyst duties.
Such duties include but are not limited to:
1. Conducts research and analysis of threats to NRC information, facilities, personnel, and technologies in order to inform NRC regulatory decisions, security, and the Commission.
2. Performs thorough and continuous review of complex and varied foreign and domestic intelligence information and other threat-related information and prepares the annual Threat Environment Review report which serves as the basis for decision-making regarding adequacy of current NRC safeguards.
3. Develops and delivers counterintelligence pre-briefings and debriefings for NRC employees engaged in foreign travel and/or having substitute (personal, professional, or financial) contacts with foreign nationals.
4. Interfaces with other government agencies and industry to maintain awareness of latest terrorist and foreign intelligence threat streams which may affect NRC equities, including threats to NRC information and licensee information that is classified or sensitive unclassified information.

In addition to the basic requirements, to qualify for this position you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as comprehensive knowledge and understanding of intelligence analysis and threat assessment processes and systems to independently evaluate intelligence and accurately assess potential threats in a timely manner. Ability to develop and recommend NRC policy based on threat assessment results.
