    About the position:
    This position will be assigned to the Child Development Center.

    This position is full time, working 35-40 hours per week.

    Moderate physical effort is required in moving or lifting objects up to 45 pounds. Heavy lifting is sometimes involved. Constantly standing, bending, stooping and reaching.

    The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas such as preparing vegetables, salads, desserts and other food items. Basic responsibilities include securing and washing food, peeling, mashing or delivering food to the kitchen for cooking; slicing meats, preparing sandwiches and salads; measuring and mixing ingredients. Follows recipes as directed. Cleans, scrubs, wipes or washes service equipment such as work tables or refrigerators. Separates food waste and trash. Ensures food is transported using sanitary containers and kept at appropriate temperatures.
