About the position:
This position will be assigned to the Hanscom AFB Tickets and Tours Facility.
This is a Regular Part-time position with a minimum of 20 and a maximum or 34 hours per week.
Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required for base wide events, tours and programs.
The Recreation Aid assists with the day to day operation of the Tickets and Tours office (ITT), including the operation and maintenance of engraving equipment. Duties also include collecting, safeguarding and depositing fees received from customers, assisting with inventories and maintaining records, and assisting with the organization and coordination of both special and recurring activities, such as historical and cultural tours. Responsible for administrative duties such as monitoring attendance, ordering office supplies and insuring that only authorized patrons use government sponsored facilities and services. Coordinates, receives and confirms reservations for all activities including sightseeing trips and ticket orders. Maintains logs and secures payment after receiving and confirming ticket/tour orders.
