As a MATERIALS HANDLER - TITLE 32, WG-6907-6, you will perform warehousing activities to include receiving, storing, selecting and shipping bulk and bin materials and equipment. Assist in the development of plans for storage and arrangement of stock to determine warehouse configuration, setup, movement, rearrangement and traffic flow. Ensure formal accountability when receiving, storing or issuing. Ensure that special documentation remains with materials throughout the storage/issue process. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and placement of materials within docking area. Schedule personnel to facilitate movement in accordance with priorities, scheduling requirements and space allocations. Prepare inventory and production reports, screens and identify shipping/receiving documents for discrepancies, and direct shipments to shipping or storage areas. May be required to store hazardous materials. Identify, examine, classify, accept and dispose of a wide variety of materials and property.

RANK REQUIREMENT:
Member must provide in writing with their application package that they are willing to accept a reduction in rank in order to be qualified for this position, if applicable. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard.
May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
You must be assigned to a compatible military position.
Wear of the military uniform.
May be subject to furlough actions.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
Must obtain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation.
Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus.
Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility.
NOTE: This position is Indefinite and may become permanent at a later date without competition depending on funding and resources. Position may be subject to realignment at a future date. Area 1 applicants will retain current tenure. Area 2 applicants will be indefinite.
