Status Candidates (Merit Promotion and VEOA Eligibles)
Performs independent QC reviews of examination-related work products and documents the results of the reviews in accordance with DER guidance, protocols, and documented templates and job aids. Ensures that examination-related work products are ready to be submitted to senior and executive management for review and approval.
Initiates workflows that evidence the formal review and approval process. Ensures that final work products are filed in accordance with DER's file plan. Actively collaborates with examiners, examination team management, and other members of the Supervision Program and Quality Assurance Branch.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement. Develops written procedures, templates, and job aides that document the QC review process.
Prepares regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management summarizing the results of QC reviews and compliance with established operating procedures bulletins, and the status of examination work products. Provides input into the development of enhanced reporting capabilities.
Assists in the development of QC training materials and the delivery of QC-related training as requested.

Division of Enterprise Regulation Overview
The Division of Enterprise Regulation (DER) is responsible for the supervision of the Enterprises - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - to evaluate the safety and soundness of their operations. DER contributes to the achievement of FHFA's strategic and performance goals through planning and executing risk-based examinations of the Enterprises; developing and preparing the annual reports of examination; issuing supervision policy and examiner guidance; providing examiner training; and providing accounting guidance and risk analysis. The Division also provides support and advice to the Agency on supervisory issues, development of FHFA policy, and internal FHFA management activities.
Office of Enterprise Supervision Operations
Office of Enterprise Supervision Operations (OESO) is responsible for providing support for the activities of all DER Offices and for promoting consistency, efficient business operations, and adherence to FHFA standards. OESO is responsible for development of Division-wide policies and procedures for program activities, for administration of DER's quality control program, and for coordination of DER responses to oversight entities, such as FHFA-OIG and GAO.
