    Summary

    This position serves as a Program Support clerk working in Voluntary Service and represents the facility in greeting visitors as they enter and leave the facility, directing individuals to the appropriate service or office, and giving and/or clarifying information in order to help the Veteran or visitor access the appropriate service.

    Responsibilities

    • Directs Veterans, family members and other visitors to the appropriate office or service within the facility.
    • Provides information and assists in problem-solving about the organization, its functions, activities and personnel.
    • Works cooperatively with the Hospitality/Concierge team for the designated work area and works with all team members to create caring environments.
    • Responds to questions from patients concerning services and provides appropriate pamphlets or written information when available.
    • Obtains information using computer-based systems such as VISTA, CPRS, Outlook and the internet.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
