As a non-supervisory GS-14 Information Technology Specialist (Data Management), the individual is responsible for managing and maintaining systems and architecture for Hadoop, Informatica, and Linux configurations and the application of statistical, mathematical, and operations research methods and techniques to the full range of DOJ programs, activities, and functions. The individual utilizes a variety of highly technical computer software packages to accomplish assignments and develops innovative methodologies for employing data extraction, data analysis, data mining, operational efficiency, and other advanced techniques. In addition, the individual will monitor best practices and technical developments throughout government and the private sector that can be adopted to ensure efficiency and effectiveness as it relates to computer assisted assessment techniques.
