    Summary

    These positions are located on the Human Resources Management Employee Relations team.

    These positions serve as Human Resources Specialist at the Human Resources Management (HRM) facility for the Employee Relations Branch.

    Responsibilities

    • Advises and assists employees, managers and supervisors on grievance procedures and appropriate options for proper resolution of conflicts or problems.
    • Develops appropriate interventions for management on significant Human Resources issues.
    • Works with other HRM functional areas to resolve Employee Relations issues that involve cross functional HR issues.
    • Ensures case assessments include all relevant facts, relevant case law or similar offenses, concerns of the case and a recommendation.
    • Conducts studies and coordinates projects that involve analyzing and recommending changes to the structure of Employee Relations work.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel 1 or 2 times per year for trainings and/or project work.
