    Summary

    This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Presidential Libraries. As a Digital Imaging Technician, you will serve at the Barack Obama Presidential Library. The incumbent will perform all work functions including pulling, re-filing, monitoring, and quality control in support of the Digitization Project(s).

    Responsibilities


    As a Digital Imaging Technician, you will:

    • Use moderate software programs associated with CCTV, Microsoft Office suite, and Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat.
    • Perform routine work practices that require close attention to detail, such as pulling and re-filing records to be digitized or communicating information about the automated metadata extractions.
    • Control and review processes relating to digital images and hardcopy output, and the technical assessment of various image quality parameters and performance of scanners and imaging systems.
