    This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

    You will serve as the Head of the Ranges & Facilities Branch (Code E42) within the Test, Evaluation & Prototype Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division.

    • You will lead, manage, and unify a diverse team of scientists, engineers, technicians, and analysts in support Test and Evaluation experimentation of complex military warfare systems.
    • You will represent Code E42 in all matters relating to the Coastal Test Range and the Fabrication and Prototype shop.
    • You will ensure technical rigor and quality of all material produced by the Fabrication and Prototype shops.
    • You will ensure Branch personnel are cross-trained in the use of Coastal Test Range equipment.
    • You will ensure E42 Test Directors are trained in accordance with NSWC Panama City Division Test and Evaluation Manual policies and processes.
    • You will ensure all Coastal Test Range support is conducted in accordance with Code E42 Execution Procedures and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) manuals.
    • You will provide technical direction to support acquisition test and evaluation as well as science and technology demonstration test and evaluation efforts.
    • You will evaluate Test Team members within Code E42 to ensure that the right person is assigned to the right level project.
    • You will be a leader in unmanned systems testing.
    • You will lead the branch in implementing strategic initiatives aligned to the command's strategic plan.
    • You will apply knowledge of EEO programs and policies in fulfillment of duties and responsibilities.
    • You will communicate ideas and concepts in writing and orally with all levels of the organization and key stakeholders including Flag and Executive levels.
