    This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Federal Records Centers Program. As a/an ARCHIVES TECHNICIAN, you will be ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of records to customer agencies, effectively liaise with customers and resolve delivery issues, and perform or oversee standard records management activities in support of agency records management needs.

    As a ARCHIVES TECHNICIAN, you will:
    - Deliver records to and retrieve records from Federal agency customers located within the local metropolitan area. Operate a delivery van or small truck in a competent, safe, and legal manner designed to avoid moving violations or other citations.
    - Perform or oversee the performance of various duties related to receiving, shelving, searching, refiling, interfiling, and destroying Federal records.
    - Physically refile and interfile agency records, return temporarily withdrawn materials to original containers and interfile new records utilizing various filing systems.
    - Advise and provide technical assistance to agency records officers on routine techniques and procedures for delivering records to the center.
