    At the entry level of this position, you will:

    • Analyze and summarize a variety of environmental program information data for use in preparing reports and program evaluations.
    • Performs science studies of a standard nature on regulatory and compliance issues and problems.

    • Prepares initial recommendations for solutions to be reviewed by higher graded staff. Supports higher-graded staff in planning for program management of environmental programs.

    • Assists staff in preparation of materials for, and participation in, briefings with managers. Review literature for assessment and information gathering.

    • Performs or assists with operation and maintenance of SEMD radiation measurement equipment.

    When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - You may be required to travel up to 25% per month.
