    Summary

    You will serve as a Undersea Warfare (USW) Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) Advanced Technology Development (ATD)
    Deputy Technical Project Manager (DTPM), in the Technical Project Management Office of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.

    Per 5 CFR 335.103(c)(3)(v), this is a non-competitive reassignment opportunity open to those qualified who hold (or have held) a position equivalent to (or higher than) an ND-04 (GS-12GS-12/13 equivalent) on a permanent basis in the competitive service.

    Responsibilities

    • You will collaborate with Technical Project Manager (TPM) in planning for program tasks execution by the project team, including coordinating owrk with others as necessary.
    • You will conduct risk analysis and seek engineering alternatives and identify solutions for problems encountered on the Program.
    • You will serve as Subject Matter Expert for submarine, surface, air, and unmanned vehicle communities for the development of Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) technology roadmaps to ensure leveraging and development efforts address requirements.
    • You will define near term (yearly) program objectives, schedules and budget, and develop task plans and reviews.
    • You will prepare briefs, action item responses, and technical white papers as required, and participate in routine and emergent staff and sponsor meetings.
