    This position is located in the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General (DoD OIG), DODIG - MISSION SUPPORT TEAM.

    As a Inventory Management Specialist, GS-2010-9/11/12, your typical work assignments may include the following:

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting in maintaining the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR),
    • Performing data entry using manual and electronic systems and producing reports for analysis and guidance to peers and property custodians,
    • Providing hands-on training to property custodians and users.
    • Performing physical inventories and running reconciliations independently.
    • Maintaining property records for assigned transactions ,
    • Actively participating in the development of policy and procedures for the inventory staff to utilize.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
