    About the Position: The Philadelphia District of the US Army Corps of Engineers in the Wanamaker Building, adjacent to City Hall in Center City Philadelphia. The Army provides up to $265 per month mass transit subsistence. Supervisors may approve options to work flex time or adjusted work schedules.

    • You will provide technical and administrative management of Architect-Engineer (A-E) or in-house designs for the projects of the largest and most complex magnitude.
    • Serve as a senior design manager responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scoping, development, budget development, and contract oversight of highly significant designs.
    • Responsible for utilizing the District Engineering Quality Management Plan coordinating with team members to make sure all aspects are followed and documented.
    • This includes leading and facilitating team preparation of the Design Document Report, depicting the overall design formulation during the stages of the design project with input from all disciplines involved.
    • Integrate the customer?s requirements into an acquisition plan that is fully coordinated within the project delivery team and meets the District's responsibilities and expectations regarding budget, schedule, and quality on their assigned projects.
