    About the Position: Defense Contract Management Agency uses the Expedited Hiring Authority to recruit and appoint qualified individuals directly into shortage category or critical need acquisition positions.

    • Performs various contract administration functions, including resolving non-compliance issues based on evaluation of disclosure statements, reports, advice and assistance from legal office, price/cost analysts, and other subject matter experts.
    • Monitors disbursement of funds and manages funding execution to ensure contractual compliance. Reviews payment requests to ensure compliance with contract financing.
    • Negotiates with contractors for consideration when delinquencies occur. Maintains contract files on the status of various contract administration or requirements.
    • Reviews new contracts/grants/agreements assigned to assure all necessary clauses have been included.
    • Performs final closeout of assigned contracts; assures delivery, inspection and acceptance of contractual end items and that all administrative and reporting actions have been resolved before final closeout of contract.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Business travel is required 15% of the time.
