Develop various techniques and methods to assess the effectiveness of ongoing TARP programs. Review and evaluate the compliance and effectiveness of the program’s policy, procedures, and regulations by interviewing program officials, reviewing program data, and analysis of financial impact.
Assume responsibility for the quality of the final product that is expected to be accepted without any technical changes.
Oversee the writing of reports, memoranda, oral presentations, and other documents that present the findings and recommendations of the performance audits and/or evaluations.
Responsible for the administrative and technical products of teams of subordinate supervisors, Program Analysts and Auditors.

All re-employed annuitants serve at the will of the agency head and appointments do not confer tenure.
The Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP) was established at the Department of the Treasury under the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. The mission of SIGTARP is to conduct, supervise, and coordinate audits and investigations of the purchase, management, and sale of assets by the Secretary under the TARP. We are looking for people to join our team as we take on our responsibility to oversee this historic program and its participants.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Directing the planning and execution of quantitative and qualitative evaluations of Federal, state, or local government programs to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the programs; AND
Making recommendations for improvement in accordance with industry Quality Standards.
