    This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Archivist/Deputy Archivist Office of the Chief Operating Officer Agency Services. As a Archives Technician; Federal Records Centers Program (AF); and works under the supervision of a supervisor in the tasks associated with the incumbent's position. Performs duties related to delivery, transfer, reference, and accessioning or disposition of records, and provides assistance to agency customers..

    As a Archives Technician, you will:

      • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
      • Use technical or quasi-professional knowledge of technical archival work and understanding of the substantive content of the records involved.
      • Provide assistance to agency customers.

    All candidates who are:Current or former federal employees qualifying as Status Candidates, Federal employees currently serving on a VRA, VEOA eligibles, CTAP/ICTAP eligible, eligible for special hiring authorities (e.g., the Schedule A appointment for persons with disabilities, or covered by an Interchange Agreement), or VRA eligibles , or Land Management employees eligible through Public Law 114-47 [List VRA only if the grade is GS-11 (or equiv) or below.]
