Duties

Help
  • You will maintain and control the supervisors' calendars advising them daily of appointments or conference.
  • You will perform liaison duties as necessary between the division head, his subordinates, and other department personnel.
  • You will function as the records custodian receiving, assessing, issuing and filing records including process instructions, directives, and correspondence.
  • You will establish and maintain files primarily for the use of the division including material such as correspondence and reports.
  • You will draft computer generated correspondence (e.g., reports, graphs, indices, statistics) using Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications

FOR THE GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support in an office setting to include using office automation and software systems for preparing documents, scheduling appointments, and identifying and resolving administrative matters.

FOR THE GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: preparing, proofreading or editing correspondence, scheduling appointments, greeting visitors, and answering phones.
