Summary

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, ACIO/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION of NAVSURFWARCEN IHEODTECHDIV.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13/14.

Duties

Help
  • You will be responsible for policy interpretation and enforcement.
  • You will recommend changes to the Command or higher authorities, implementing changes as necessary to maintain compliance or improve efficiency.
  • You will communicate with Department Heads, Division Directors, Branch Managers and end users for telecommunication services funding and invoicing.
  • You will create, and track performance against, yearly organizational and project specific Information Technology budgets.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector; analyzing budget, procurement, funding or invoicing processes to track or resolve obligations or commitments within a Command.

Additional information

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10, currently $128,920.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
