Help

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate management classes including organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, and other management courses; mentoring students in performance of management research or capstone related projects; and advising. The remainder of the selectee's time will be dedicated to research and service duties in the Department of Management, professional organizations, and other areas.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate completed no later than June 22, 2020 from an AACSB or equivalent quality program in Management including the sub-disciplines Organizational Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Technology and Innovation Management or Marketing.

ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES: Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Technology and Innovation Management, Marketing, or related field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants will be assessed based on their teaching credentials (including experience, expertise, teaching awards, teaching evaluations/student critiques, course development efforts, and student project descriptions), current scholarship (peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, working papers, and awards), service (membership and contributions to collegial, administration, professional organizations and societies, and/or community), and education (official academic transcripts and evidence of other relevant experience and diversity and inclusion evidence). Successful applicants will possess personal attributes of integrity, cooperation, initiative, and breadth of intellectual interests. Preference will be given to a research and/or teaching focus (especially undergraduate) in management including: organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, human resource management, technology and innovation management, and other management courses and in marketing. Relevance of publications and degrees to the fields listed is strongly preferred. Evidence of ability to maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status consistent with AACSB standards through continuous scholarly activities is also highly desirable.

EDUCATION:
If selected, you MUST provide original copies of ALL OFFICIAL transcripts for degrees being pursued or obtained (or letter of degree completion if an OFFICIAL transcript is not available due to recent graduation) to support your educational claims as stated in your curriculum vitae. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a transcript to be considered OFFICIAL, it should be printed on university letterhead and the registrar's official seal/signature must appear on the transcript. Your transcripts must also reflect the degree awarded/conferred date. Transcripts labeled UNOFFICIAL will not be accepted.

FOREIGN EDUCATION:
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the educational requirements. However, you must show proof that the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying in the form of an "official" statement of U.S. equivalency from a Department of Education approved (non-federal) agency (i.e. AICE, NACES), who will complete a U.S. Standard of Education Conversion.

Tax Law Impact for PCS: On 22-Dec-2017, Public Law 115-97 - "Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017 suspended qualified moving expense deductions along with the exclusion for employer reimbursements & payments of moving expenses effective 01-Jan-2018 for tax years 2018 through 2025. The law made taxable certain reimbursements & other payments, including driving mileage, airfare & lodging expenses, en-route travel to new duty station, & temporary storage of those items.
