    Summary

    The Sexual Assault Risk Reduction & Response Program (SARRP) Director is located in the Office of the Director.  The SARRP Director position is responsible for the ongoing coordination of the SARRR Program Team and, as such, is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the SARRRP Team’s implementation of Peace Corps established policies and procedures related to sexual assault response and risk reduction.

    Responsibilities

    The Sexual Assault Risk Reduction & Response Program Director performs the following major duties:

    • Policy and Procedure Implementation - Monitors and evaluates SARRRP Team compliance with all policies

      and procedures impacting the SARRRP within the Peace Corps.

    • Institutional Learning and Growth - Provides authoritative guidance to individual SARRRP implementing

      offices, discuss operations, identify challenges and define solutions, and convenes regular meetings with

      all implementing offices to discuss program implementation, and identify best practices as well as areas of

      continual improvement.

    • Leadership - Develops and implements activities designed to assist with ongoing strategic planning,

      including development of analysis tools, promoting the use of the best available methods in prevention

      research, assessment of current activities, knowledge gaps, criteria for setting program priorities,

      partnership development, and future strategies related to SARRRP.

    • Team Collaboration - Plans, organizes and manages the SARRRP Team on behalf of the Director to

      ensure an integrated and responsive victim-centered program.

    Travel Required

    25% or less - The incumbent should be available to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally to provide support on SARRRP matters.
